Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining important business information across internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, and CRM platforms.

As a Data Entry Specialist, your work directly supports business operations by ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and smooth workflow processes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Record Management
- Input, update, and maintain customer, sales, inventory, financial, or operational data in company databases, spreadsheets, or CRM systems.
- Transfer data from source documents, forms, invoices, reports, or digital files into company systems with accuracy.
- Review and verify data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy before submission.
- Organize and maintain digital files, records, and documentation for easy retrieval.
- Perform data cleanup by identifying duplicate, incomplete, or outdated records.
Database Maintenance
- Update customer profiles, account records, transaction details, and contact information as needed.
- Ensure all records are properly categorized and stored according to company procedures.
- Maintain database integrity by following data entry standards and quality control processes.
- Generate reports and summaries based on collected data when requested.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Conduct regular data audits to identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Correct data errors and report inconsistencies to supervisors or relevant departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer, employee, or business information.
- Follow company compliance standards for handling and storing data.
Administrative Support
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect missing information or verify records.
- Support project teams with data organization, research, or reporting tasks.
- Assist in preparing operational reports, spreadsheets, and business documentation.
Requirements
Technical Requirements
- Laptop or desktop computer with updated operating system.
- Stable high-speed internet connection (minimum 20–25 Mbps recommended).
